Great house with character and charm. Within walking distance to the Main Street. Wood fires & reverse cycle heating. Renovated bathrooms. Beautiful home away from home.

What a lovely house to stay in for a weekend. We shared the house with friends and there was plenty of room for us to move around. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay in Beechworth Lots of wood to keep the fire going and the house toasty warm.Communication and bookings was super easy.

This house is so beautifully styled and it felt so warm and welcoming in every room. It’s away from the bustle and noise of town but a very short lovely walk to get a coffee. The hosts were easy to communicate with. Will definitely stay again when back in Beechworth

A superbly furnished house that is modern, tasteful and with comfortable bedding. The photos really don't do the quality of the accommodation justice! The accommodation was supplied with generous kitchen, bathroom and laundry supplies so no need to take back up items. All arrangements were very smooth and clear, Jen & Jess at Beechworth Short Stays were very professional to deal with.

It comfortably fit 6 adults & 4 young kids. The living/kitchen area is conveniently separated from the bedrooms too so that helped when those who wanted to go to bed could without being woken up by those watching Craig McLachlan clips on tv. The toy room was an absolute bonus too! Lots to keep kids entertained. We had a great stay & would highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy gorgeous Beechworth. Easy walk into the Main Street. Thanks a lot!

It was perfect for our family Christmas. While it is obviously designed for families with children it still worked well for us with adults ranging from 17 to 91! The kitchen is well equipped (everything we needed for a foodie Christmas), the big dining room table was the centre of our stay, and the two lounge/living rooms meant we could all hang out together or divide if we wanted. There were also lots of touches that make stays like this that little bit better – beautiful linen and towels, hand wash at each basin, complimentary shampoo and conditioner, toys for kids, herbs in the garden, side tables exactly where you want to put your cup, blankets in the lounge for cool mornings/evenings (we could also see that it was well set up for a winter stay). It was spotlessly clean, communication with the hosts was good, and check-in was smooth … pretty damn perfect actually. Wait … that driveway was a killer, beware of the pole, but be even more aware of those deep gutters on either side! All up though we loved it.

The layout of the property is very appealing with all rooms at the front and a kitchen/lounge with additional bathroom at the back. Spacious backyard, however not very secure for little ones or pets. Little ones enjoyed the toy room just off main lounge, as did parents as we could keep an eye on them whilst enjoying some relaxing time in the couches. I recommend this property and would book it again for our next stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much and the house was perfect for our group. The decor is delightful, there is plenty of seating and places to relax, the fit out has been done to an excellent standard. We appreciated the many thoughtful touches that made our stay even more special. Thanks for a wonderful weekend away!

We were the first to stay at Bridge Road Retreat and what a treat it was. Absolutely beautifully renovated, plenty of space for a large group like ours. Fantastic facilities, close to Main Street. Very comfortable and well suited to groups, families or couples. Relaxing weekend away in luxury.
