Amazing house surrounded by beautiful garden. A stone's throw away from Beechworth although Stanley itself is a lovely quiet town. The kitchen is well equipped and great for preparing meals for a larger group. Highly recommend!

A unique location fits large extended families, you can spread out and relax watching nature that comes right up to you.

The place was great for a large group, Stanley is a lovely place to explore or to just sit and look at the trees. If you’re looking for a place to accommodate a big group this is a good choice.

Fantastic short stay for a family reunion. We had 10 stay very comfortably. The living and kitchen area was great for big meals and game nights. Great introduction to this part of Vic as its super close to Beechworth.

Very impressed with our stay at Casa Abierta. The hosts were very responsive to our enquiries and gave clear instructions. The property was well equipped and we enjoyed the BBQ, games and time to relax with our family and puppies.

Lovely house with lots of room for larger groups. The house stayed nice and cool despite 30+ degree days every day. Everyone in our group enjoyed our stay and the surrounding nature.

A perfect family living space with big fully equipped kitchen and very clean, and spacious dining and lounge areas with super comfy couches and windows all around looking out to the garden. Bedrooms have very comfy beds. This is not your run-of-the-mill house, it is jam-packed with character, and a wonderful place to chill and hang out, beautiful fully fenced large garden, CDs with a good sound system, and lots of interesting books to read. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to staying again! Thank you for your generous sharing of this house that you have clearly loved making into a very special place!

The first impression was the beautiful drive up to this gorgeous property, easy to find with the directions provided by Jen & Jess....but then it was the spaciousness of this comfortable home that we were all in awe of as we wandered through choosing our rooms. Can't fault anything at all. The countryside was breathtaking. We were a group of 9 adults with a toddler gathering for our family Christmas get together after a year of not seeing one another and we were just so thrilled with the amenities, huge kitchen with everything you need to cook or even bake with, pantry space enormous. The bedrooms with comfortable beds donning beautiful quilts were all a great size and so homely and inviting. A huge laundry which we didn't need to use but fab for a longer stay. The grounds were well kept, and the barbeque was perfect for our needs. Plenty of room to sit around together and dine together easily. Extra area upstairs for sitting in to read a book or play with toddler. The layout was such that we all had privacy and did not fall over each other at all, not bad with nine guests. Plenty of wood was supplied to light the fire if it was necessary and so much room for the dogs to run about and have fun and for our outdoor games. We just loved it. We dined at the Stanley Pub which was really good, Greg the owner was amazing. Beechworth, a 10-minute drive, is a beautifully preserved old town with fabulous shops, pubs, cafes, a brewery, and Billson's for out of this world cordial. Beechworth also provides plenty of history to fascinate. Casa Abierta is so roomy, this lovely home worked brilliantly for us all. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your property, can't wait to return but for longer next time, three nights is not long enough.
