Fanny Phillips Cottage

What a great place ! Cosy and comfortable.. as soon as I arrived I felt relaxed. The location is so convenient and I really only used my car for country drives outside of Beechworth...otherwise I walked the picturesque streets enjoying the cafes and the beautiful shops. I love that my dog was also welcome and so I had peace of mind bringing her there from a stressful time in Quarantine having just arrived from overseas. Jen was warm and wonderful with communication and suggested an extra clean as I was there for quite a few days. I will highlight that the space was well equipped and it felt like everything has been thought of to create a lovely base from which to explore this great area and all that it has to offer. I will highly recommend Fanny's Cottage to my friends and family.

What a beautiful cottage right in the centre of town, yet very quiet & all creature comforts provided . More pleasing than the photos show. Highly recommended.

Great location - nice and bright

Absolutely perfect place to stay in an incredible location with the kindest, most responsive and accommodating host. The accommodation itself is just beautiful and has everything you need and then everything else you could want in terms of restaurants or supplies or things to visit are literally at your doorstop. This place being pet friendly is amazing! Easy check in, heater being on was so appreciated and it just felt like a beautiful home away from home. Wish we had stayed longer!

A quaint little cottage that had all the amenities needed for a few days in Beechworth. The cottage is beautifully presented and right in the heart of the township. We had a really lovely stay here and fell in love with Beechworth and all it has to offer. Will definitely be back to Fanny Phillips!

Lovely little quirky cottage which made it more memorable! The level of detail with added touches were really appreciated. The interior design was well thought out, comfortable, had warmth and character with modern/traditional elements etc The location was exceptional plus the small courtyard was attractive, except didn’t get to use due to inclement weather.Only issue was as the lock box on leaving but called and spoke to Jen who was very helpful.Overall great weekend and experience and would come back again without question!

Fantastic location, couldn't be more central if you tried. This place is great for couples and is generously sized, there was also plenty of room for our 7month old. The hosts communicated well and were very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in Beechworth at the cottage! Walk out the front door and you are smack bang in the middle of town.

Great central location for travelling Beechworth and the region! Plenty of space for two people. The bed is huge and very comfortable!! Access to foxtel on the telly was a nice treat as well. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay in Fanny Phillips cottage. The central location was excellent and we didn’t need to use our car once during our stay. It had everything we needed and we appreciated all the extra touches such as the chocolates and edibles. The interior decor was gorgeous and suited the cottage. Our only comment was the hot water in the kitchen was very hot so some warning or adjustment might be worth considering. Thank you!

We stayed at the Fanny Phillips cottage for our first weekend away with our four-month-old and we loved it! The location is perfect for settling in and enjoying Beechworth and the cottage is beautifully furnished and walking in to the warmth felt super luxurious. Also found Jen a very kind and communicative host. We would love to come back

Perfect location nestled in the heart of town, but very quiet. Check in was simple and having soft music and lamps on created a lovely welcome to the cute space. The cottage had all the amenities we needed, lots of lovely touches. We especially appreciated the smart tvs when we got stuck inside on a rainy day. Despite the rain we also got to enjoy the courtyard during a moment of sun and it would bliss during more pleasant weather. Would definitely recommend booking here.

A perfect little oasis right in the centre of town.The details and design of the cottage are a perfect mix of renovated luxury while still maintaining the ambience and feel of the cottage’s history. Jess and Jen are wonderful hosts. They are wonderful at communicating with you from telling you how to open the front door to suggestions and history of the cottage and town. They have really thought of everything you might need from a weekend away to a week’s stay. The cottage was bright, clean and welcoming. Thank you for letting us borrow your home this week.

The location was perfect! Just a short walk to a number of cafes, bars and restaurants. The cottage was beautiful and newly renovated while still holding the old bones of the original cottage. We will definitely return for another stay!
