Perfect for a couple and walking distance to town

What a perfect little cottage!! Peaceful spot, nice and quiet but still walking distance to the centre of town. The cottage itself was tidy and clean, felt super cozy and homey. The heating was on when we arrived. Definitely recommend Gladstone House if you are after that homey cottage stay!!

The cottage was well appointed and comfortably warm. Negotiating the varying levels of the rooms took a little while to get used to but appropriate lighting was useful. The amenities were good. We enjoyed our stay in Beechworth.

Really enjoyed our stay. house was centrally located and comfy. loved the open fire, beds were comfy and the bath robes were a lovely extra. Would recommend

We had a lovely 2 night stay. Weather was terrible, so we loved that there was more than ample firewood to keep us warm. Extremely comfortable beds with quality linen. Cosy living space for us to relax by the fire with a glass of wine. We didn't get to enjoy the beautiful garden as it was raining but looked a great place to sit. We loved reading about the history of the cottage and its quirkiness. Easy stroll in to town for restaurants. Will definitely stay again.

Within walking distance of main streets. Had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Amenities were really good. Electric BBQ outback. Comfortable seating in the back garden. Be careful of shower flow. Great pressure. Wifi present.

A very charming cottage with all the ammenities one needed every detail had been thought of including (sensor lighting for night) unfortunately it wasn’t cold enough to have a fire couldn’t fault it. Just a tad on the expensive side

A truly delightful stay. The property is as described…only better. The cottage is beautifully appointed, thoughtfully equipped and in a fabulous position within easy walking distance to an array of cafes and shops in the centre of town. It’s setting is a quiet haven and it’s a delight to sit on either front or back veranda with a glass of wine or book. The hosts are helpful and communicative. In all, I utterly recommend Gladstone House and look forward to our next visit.

A hidden gem! Gladstone House was absolutely awesome with some many little things that made our stay so much more enjoyable. The house has all amenities covered with many hidden gems.....chocolate on arrival, coffee pods, plunger coffee, bathroom accessories, stocked firewood & kindling.....plus everything you need in the kitchen for self-catering. The property is close to everything so you can walk everywhere! Thoroughly recommend doing the local tours including the Asylum Ghost Tour (especially late at night!!). Communication with Jess & Jen for a late check out was easy and so helpful!! We stayed for 3 nights but could have easily made it 3 weeks and even 3 months! A great find and great stay!

It's a beautiful house with so much history which the owners have meticulously researched - it's a great read. The house is cosy with many original features but modern amenities. Gorgeous street and great location. We loved it!

Delightful cottage close to centre of town. Very clean and very comfortable.

Cosy and well appointed place to stay for our few days. Easy stroll to shops parks and tourist precinct. Well worth staying at. Easy to use kitchen with all the and more of the appliances and utensils you need to cook your own meals, a great shower and plenty of places to sit and relax. Thanks hosts.

Very comfortable. Loved the modern facilities within the confines of a beautiful old home. Garden was a great surprise and we enjoyed spending time in it. Easy access to food and shops.

Gladstone House - a great place to stay, easy walk to town and gorge walk...and everything you would ever want available in the house.

A delightful quirky little cottage, quaint but beautifully renovated. Set in a beautiful award winning garden on a quiet tree lined street. Easy walk to Beechworth main strip with boutique shops and restaurants - try the Empire Hotel. This is one of my favourite airbnb properties ever. People with a disability should be aware of steps inside and out.
