This unique heritage retreat built in 1860 offers comfortable modern features in the heart of Beechworth. Granite Cottage is on two acres in a peaceful and quiet location, a short stroll from the main street and only steps from the Gorge with a plethora of walking and riding trails. It is close to restaurants and cafes, including two breweries, wine bars, boutique shops, Lake Sambell and the new Epic mountain bike trail. Granite Cottage is perfectly situated to explore all that Beechworth and the surrounding high country has to offer.

Through split levels, Granite Cottage offers two queen beds and sleeps four with the option of a double sofa bed if you have a extra guests. Please enquire if you would like use of the sofa bed.
One bedroom is downstairs the other is in the loft area upstairs. The sofa bed is located downstairs in a separate sitting room. There is a separate lounge dining located downstairs.

Three outdoor dining areas and a fully fenced yard offer the opportunity to relax amongst the spacious tranquil garden with your pet.

The space:
The house includes a modern kitchen with a Breville Oracle coffee machine and local coffee beans, and one bathroom with a spa bath, shower and separate toilet.

Enjoy your coffee in the morning sun on the front verandah, relax with a drink in the afternoon on the back porch couches or cook a BBQ dinner to enjoy on the outdoor table in the garden.

A cosy fireplace in the lounge, along with ducted heating and cooling throughout the house are available.

Fully fenced yard with an insulated kennel provided under the back porch.

Please note that due to the age of this property, there are some internal steps up and down and low ceiling beams. Very authentic!

100% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 5 days before arrival or earlier. 0% refundable if cancelled after.

Absolutely no parties or weddings without consultation with the managers. Noise to be restricted between 11pm and 9am. This property is located in a built up area and consideration for neighbours is mandatory.

Very cosy cottage

A very cosy little cottage, ducted heating system & fire place in lounge, kept us nice and warm during our rainy stay. Beautiful back yard, with comfortable outdoor lounge setting under the veranda, great to watch the birds in the morning with a coffee or the sunset with an evening drink. A lovely relaxing space all round.

Loved our stay here! Nice and warm, very comfortable with great amenities. Peaceful, gorgeous location. Short walk to the center of town up a hill which very young children or people with accessibility needs may struggle with - no problem though if you have a car!. Great for a family stay.

Better than expected from the photos! Old charming property, stylishly renovated with all modern facilities. Great coffee machine, quality soap. Comfy couches facing the cute backyard, perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. Very cosy fire that keeps the lounge very toasty in winter. Walking distance to town, short walk to Billsons, and several great walking tracks right from the doorstep. Great all-round property and location

I had such a lovely time at Granite Cottage. Close to town and easy to find. The property is peaceful and has all the amenities you need for resting a weary soul. Jen was fabulous- efficient and clear communication as well as being very helpful. Lovely kitchen with everything you need. Great coffee machine. Fireplace was such a treat. Beautiful big backyard. Highly recommend
