Close to town and quiet

Jane | 26th August 2023

Although this house will take 10 guests comfortably, we found it also worked well for 2 couples. It is so close to the centre of town but in a quiet street. The outside area is lovely and the house has everything you might need.

Apart from leaving my coat behind we had the best time. Hoping my coat is returned some how. I have tried to contact but have not heard back

Charming heritage home

Valda | 5th July 2023

Highly recommend this charming heritage house in the beautiful town of Beechworth. The home mirrors the history of the town, providing quality, period furnishings and modern amenities. All bedrooms were beautifully appointed and beds very comfortable. The location is ideal to stroll to shops, restaurants, pubs, walks and historical landmarks. Thank you to our hosts and we hope to return another time to this lovely area and this home.

Ticked the boxes!

Dave | 2nd June 2023

We had such a fantastic time in Beechworth and at Isabellas. The home ticked all boxes for me except for one thing, a gas lit fire, which took away the authentic feel I was after. Overall i would highly recommend staying here and everything else was so wonderful. Thank you Dave

Cosy on a cold weekend

Patricia | 19th May 2023

The property did not feel terribly welcoming when we arrived in that unlike some properties we have stayed at the fire was not going when we arrived and it was very cold; and there were also no welcome treats like a chocolate/bread/bottle of wine. However, the fire was effective and once started warmed the property up reasonably quickly so we had a warm and cosy weekend. The beds were comfortable and the bedding warm. The back garden would have been lovely to sit in on a sunny day. There appeared to be a few minor maintenance issues - one of the oil column heaters in one bedroom did not seem to work and one of the bedside lamps in another also did not work. There was also no shampoo/conditioner and the information booklet felt somewhat out of date (reference to the firewood but the heater was a gas burner etc). However, location was excellent and the property was well appointed.

Excellent property, centrally located, well equipped for large groups, excellent service

Beautiful Home

Jo | 9th April 2023

We had a lovely stay in a very beautiful home full of charm and character. The outdoor area is peaceful and serene, and we were lucky enough to see a platypus in the creek behind the house. The house is an easy walk to the main street and nearby hotels. We will definitely be back.

Brilliant place to stay

Michael | 18th January 2023

What a brilliant place to stay. It is such a gorgeous house, beautifully fitted out and looked after, so close to everything in Beechworth. It was amazing to stay in such a comfortable and character-filled house, with everything you’d want or need included, a short stroll from Beechworth’s wonderful main street. Highly recommended.
